Have Your Say Mount Gambier

Public Art at Railway Lands

This consultation has now concluded.

The City of Mount Gambier is inviting the community to assist with the final selection of a Major Public Art piece to be located on the corner of Railway Terrace and Bay Road.

An exhaustive process has been carried out to select the three South Australia based sculptors to carry out a concept design and each have created high quality pieces of public art/sculpture. The artwork component of the Railway Lands project has been funded by the State Government as part of the grant awarded for Stage Two works.

Please review the artists' description of their work and let us know YOUR PICK . Your preferences will assist Council to select the final artwork to be located at the site.

The art/sculpture pieces are titled:

"Signalling Change"

"Tracks"

"End of the Line"

ALL PROPOSED SCULPTURES TO BE APPROXIMATELY 7 METRES IN HEIGHT.

Should you have any queries, or require addidtional information please contact Council's Manager Regulatory Services, Michael Silvy on (08) 8721 2520.
