Consultation has concluded

The City of Mount Gambier currently has 2 staff bicycles as part of the Council’s fleet. These bicycles have men’s frames and are not good quality or equipped with any baskets or water bottle holders. Mount Gambier is a very ride-friendly place, with the entire urban area within 5km by road from the Council building. Additionally, with the construction of the Rail Trail this provides more opportunities for riding during lunch breaks.

The City of Mount Gambier Staff on Wheels project aims to remove the barriers for all staff to utilise active transport options in the future.

As part of this project staff are requested to fill out a survey by Friday 27th January 2017 to provide more information on understanding the barriers and motivations to utilise the fleet bikes.
