Draft 2025/2026 Business Plan and Budget, Draft Long Term Financial Plan 2026-2035
This consultation has now concluded. The City of Mount Gambier would like to thank all members of our community who reviewed the documents, asked questions or provided feedback throughout the consultation.
----
The City of Mount Gambier released the following two key plans for community review:
1. Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget - 1 year
The Annual Business Plan and Budget outlines Council’s priorities for the financial year, including services, infrastructure projects, strategic planning initiatives and how they will be funded. Council is required to develop and adopt this plan annually as per the Local Government Act 1999 and financial regulations. This plan aligns with our Long Term Financial Plan and Asset Management Plans, reflecting the Mount Gambier 2035 Community Vision for the future.
2. Draft Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) - 10 years
The draft Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) for 2026–2035 has been prepared to guide the financial decision-making and planning of Council over the next ten years. The LTFP is an essential component of Council’s strategic management plans and is reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant to the evolving needs of the community and organisation.
Council invited our community to review the documents, ask questions via one of the information sessions and provide feedback.
