Riddoch Arts and Cultural Centre Strategic Action Plan

The City of Mount Gambier is seeking feedback on the draft Riddoch Arts and Cultural Centre’s Strategic Action Plan 2027 - 2028.

Following ongoing consultation with our community throughout 2024 and 2025 in workshops, stakeholder meetings and community discussions, the draft Strategic Action Plan details key projects and plans to elevate the Riddoch’s presence as South Australia’s flagship regional gallery.

The plan has been informed by community consultation, research and benchmarking of regional galleries throughout Australia, and key strategic documents such as:

• City of Mount Gambier Strategic Plan 2024-2028,
• Yerkalalpata Reconciliation Action Plan,
• Creative Australia Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028,
• Create SA’s ‘A Place to Create Delivery Plan 2025 – 2027’; and
• Country Arts SA Strategic Plan.

We encourage community members to:

1. Review the draft actions detailed in the plan which can be downloaded here; and
2. Share their feedback by completing this feedback form.

Feedback will be accepted until 5pm on Tuesday 4 August 2026. Community feedback will be considered in the finalisation of the plan before it is presented to Council for consideration and endorsement in August 2026.
