The Park & Stride campaign is about encouraging people to park in an off street car park within the Mount Gambier city centre and walk to do their small shopping trips.


Why is Council encouraging people to Park & Stride? There are many reasons why parking off-street and walking for small shopping trips is good for the community:


    • Walking is good for people’s health.


    • Walking is good for the local economy.


    • Walking is better for the local environment.


Not only is Park & Stride good for your health, you can also get discounts in supportive city centre shops using the PARK & STRIDE Discount Card.

  • Park and Stride - Current Behaviours & Attitudes

    This survey is about assessing the attitudes and practices of shoppers in Mount Gambier’s city centre in relation to walking and cycling.

    By completing this survey you go into the draw to win prizes including $50 Park & Stride eftpos vouchers and vouchers to local shops.

    Prize winners will be drawn weekly during the first four weeks of the campaign.

    You can also choose to complete the survey anonymously, but you will not go into the prize draw.

    Your personal details will not be shared, they are collected solely for the purposes of awarding prizes from the draw.
