What is the Park & Stride Discount Card, and how do I get one?
The Park & Stride Discount Card enables card holders to discounts and special deals at participating city centre businesses. The current discounts and special deals are listed on the "Current Discounts & Deals" document in the "Document Library" section of this webpage.
In order to get a Park & Stride Discount Card you need to make a commitment to Park & Stride for small shopping trips. There are a number of ways you can do this:
People who have a photo of themselves holding the "I Park & Stride" speech bubble put on the Facebook page or the website will go into the draw to win random prizes - including $50 Park & Stride eftpos cards that can be used at any participating business.
What is a "small shopping trip"?
A "small shopping trip" is a trip where you intend to go to two or more shops, and purchase items that can be easily carried in one or two carry bags.
Park & Stride is not about shopping for bulky items, or your weekly grocery shop. It is also only about encouraging people to walk who are physically able to walk a moderate distance.
I am a business owner / manager - how can I support Park & Stride?
Business can support Park & Stride by offering discounts or special deals to Park & Stride Discount Card holders, and by spreading the word about the program through posters and online. Supporting business will have their logo displayed on the Park & Stride supporters webpage.
