Recent community engagement activity conducted by Council has highlighted demand for a review of the existing public bus services provided within Mount Gambier.

Although transport services are funded and managed by the South Australian Government, the City of Mount Gambier remains the provider of associated infrastructure and retains an important role in advocating for the current and future needs of our city.

The purpose of this review is to evaluate:

  • levels of public satisfaction with existing services
  • strengths, weaknesses and gaps within existing transport models
  • opportunities for improvement
  • accessibility of existing services; and
  • planning, infrastructure and sustainability considerations for Council.

The public survey and online submission portal has now closed. Thank you to those who took the time to provide us with feedback.

If you have a question about this consultation, phone the project team on 8721 2555.
