Located at 23 Cave Road Mount Gambier, Food Bank provides free fruit and vegetables and bread as well as cheap grocery items. They are open Monday and Wednesday 1:00pm to 4:00pm and Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm and accessible to anyone with a referral voucher which can be sourced from a range of local services and agencies

Located at 22-24 Ferrers Street (behind the RSL), the ac care Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and provides food, clothing, financial counselling and assistance with emergency accommodation. All community members who are in need are welcome.

The community are asked to abide by the social distancing measures by keeping a minimum of 1.5 metres away from others, avoiding gatherings of more than 2 people and keeping movement around the city to only essential travel. The more space between you and others, the harder it is for the virus to spread. Watch the video below on how to practice social distancing.

Hand-washing Technique
Practice good hygiene to protect against infection and prevent the virus spreading. Good hygiene includes: covering your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue, disposing of tissues properly, washing your hands often with soap and water, using alcohol-based hand sanitisers, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.
